Our Eco Mindset for 2020

2019 has been a year of wild weather; with fires one one side of the globe and snow storms in the other.

It's been a year of political and climate action with millions of individuals uniting to make their voices heard. World leaders have been making changes to all sorts of environmental policies- with many vowing to reduce their carbon emissions and cut out single use plastics. Despite this, there are still many politicians sticking their heads in the sand when it comes to accepting and combatting Climate Change. 

It's been a year of small victories for our minority cultures, however the fight for equality and acceptance within all facets of life continues on. There is always more work to be done. 

We won't bore you with every little detail, because you've been there with us for every step of the way...

As we approach the end of 2019, we want you to reflect on the year behind us.  More importantly, we want you to keep your focus on the year ahead. 

In Old-Norse, 'Kappi' translates to 'warrior', 'champion' and 'hero'. This coming year, we want you to ignite your inner Kappi warrior to fight for what you believe in. 

Kappi is about standing up and fighting for a better future and a healthier planet. Although it's about demanding change, it's about becoming the change you wish to see in the world. 

We are here to inspire and support our fellow eco-warriors with Kappi and, and to unite against this environmental s**t-storm we collectively find ourselves in. 

If you're here, you've probably already made changes in your lives, and we applaud and thank you for that! 

In 2020, we want you to ignite that power within you as an eco warrior and use it for good. It's easy to confuse that power within as anger and frustration- we get you. It's so easy to get bogged down in the negatives, but we're here to be your guide to help you focus on the fuel. We no longer think of our eco anger and frustration like that- for us it's fuel and determination.  

Looking to the future, we wish you a year full of happiness and eco positivity. Like a Kappi Warrior, we urge you to keep your head up, your eyes clear, your spirits high and your mind focussed on a cleaner future.
